In the 35 plus years that I’m doing what I love to do, I have built and improved over 100 Gas Stations belong to the now defunct “Gaseteria” Oil Corp, in addition; I have done Merrit, Exxon and Sunoco Gas Stations, still I hold the license to install and test underground Storage Tanks and piping, issued by the NYC Fire Department (underground tanks division)
Furthermore, I have built many residential and commercial properties, mostly located in the Bronx, NY.
Since 1994 to present I’m very well dedicated to the restoration of residential properties that sustain Smoke, Fire and Water Damages, since then I have restored 1000’s of affected properties.
In year 2000/2001 after a destructive fire, I have restored 54 apartments units in the larger residential building located in the town of Havestraw, NY (Rockland County).
Will be difficult for me to forget this project, I was in the middle of it when the terrorist attacked NYC on 9-11-2001; the Building’s Street number is 9-11 (two tax lots 9 and 11), I was doing the best to revive a small piece of property, compared with the World Trade Center and terrorist were destroying part of our City.
I started with my business career young; in 1976, I was 24/25 years old, just adopted by this wonderful country, I remember how difficult it was, the language barrier, still trying to know how to get from here to there without getting lost.
I was begging for work, knocking door by doors, leaving home made business cards along stores from downtown Manhattan to the Bronx, grabbing whatever I could grab.
Always carrying with me a small tool box, along with a big bag… full of hope and dreams.
My perseverance, dedication and hard work did pay off; most of my dreams did come thru, Married to the same wonderful woman I met almost 40 years ago, we have 3 wonderful daughters, Jeanine, Cindy and Kristy, (this is from were the name JCK comes from) and 3 Granddaughters and a Grandson
Still I am dedicated to offer my services, experience and advice to anyone that needs some kind of home improvement, alteration or just a simple repair, I offer my services with the same perseverance and enthusiasm, and still I work very hard, like I did 35 years ago
